I finally found the album. (Google: Barry Goldberg Reunion) The album version of Hole in my pocket had no wahwah guitar at all, what a big dissapointment.
I see your single is also a cut-out, as was mine. My friends mother bought it from some clothing store for a penny or two. Guess Buddah had "enough" of them singles pressed.
i bought each Barry Goldberg record as they came out, but this was the great one...."I Think I'm Gonna Cry " was another great one....how did these songs slip by without becoming hits. I don't know, he was a great one and a great producer too....the album he did with Dylan is a beauty, seek it out if you don't have it.
That seems strange I have this Album and Mine has all the WaWa on Hole in my pocket that makes no sense to me.
As for the Electric Flag version and the Barry Goldberg they both came out in 1968 within months of each other Also Barry Goldberg is a founding Member of the Electric Flag But I see that was posted all ready
The Album is a great one
Hi, The small hole usually means the records been 'deleted' from further pressing. As for the wahwah missing, that is why buying the original 7" record is usually the only way to go, although it's interesting to know there's an an 'alternative' version. Cheers.
