Raised in a small 50's town, the local movie hall played Teresa Brewer LPs before, after and during film breaks (which were frequent). Movie and popcorn for 25 cents. When the movie hall burned down, I rescued one of the LPs from the ruins and we played it to death well into the 70's and 80's. Ballad of Lover's Hill was always my favorite. Thanks for the post. It brought back many fond memories.

Have loved this song since Feb 1963 when it started on the Hobart Charts went to number 4 and stayed on the chart for 15 weeks.
