It s the only thing i ve got, don t strip my world of it s song
Don t take away the music it s the only thing i ve got, memories of love s refrain
Memories keep haunting me, now it s silent like the phone
don t take away the music ooh ooh ooh
Since you re not here with me, everytime you whispered low
It s my piece of the rock, don t strip my world of it s song
My heart would sing, it s the only thing i ve got
you were my song
My whole life seems out of key, it s my piece of the rock Music, would you separate the words
Memories of love s refrain, since you re not here with me The, since you re not here with me
don t strip my world of it s song
Don t take away the music ooh ooh ooh, memories from a sweet melody
The phone that never rings, don t take away the music everything else is gone
Memories of love s refrain, now that you ve gone
i knew you were always there
Memories from a sweet melody, don t strip my world of it s song The, don t take away the music ooh ooh ooh
It s my piece of the rock, memories from a sweet melody Tavares, it s my piece of the rock
Don t take away the music everything else is gone, don t strip my world of it s song
Don t take away the music ooh ooh ooh, memories from a sweet melody
It s my piece of the rock, my heart would sing The, don t strip my world of it s song
This music makes me feel so good inside. It instantly takes me back to a time when life was so simple. People were so care free and happy back in the 70's. I miss the joy on people's faces. Not saying it was perfect, but compared to the crap going on today we had it made back then. A totally different vibe in the air.
To all the people who comment. Those days were just the best. There was an air of excellence to those days and that era. People appear too serious these days. l used to spray my boots silver like what slade wore. One day, l sprayed my boots silver without putting any paper on the carpet at mam n dads, there wad an outline of a pair of boots my dad went ballistic, but we laughed years later, what a great time l had. Mam and dad loved that era and were tollarant in many ways. My bedroom had a poster everywere, you could not see an inch of wallpaper anywere. David cassidy bay city rollers, wizard, slade sweet, later nazerath, van halen metallica etc. Great days.
