People always associate a certain decade by their favorite music. The 70's seems to always have the most revered "classic rock". What they don't realize is that most of the biggest "hits" were disco songs. The 90's gets associated with the Alternative/Grunge scene though much of the top-40 charts saw Dance music and one-hit-wonder novelty songs (i.e Barbie Girl). Regardless of when the music came out, substance-over-style always stands the test of time.
I'm 16 and I'm making music like this thank's to influences of hendrix, psych 70's groups, I have heard them all, in the 1000's of bands and albums. So I have a good knowledge, I'll try make a revival of it soon
Undoubtedly my favourite piece by Tangerine Dream. Not only does it make optimal use of TD's best sound trademarks, it is also a magnificent, versatile - yet concise - composition.
