my dad passed away when i started high school and he absolutely loved country....and today i am a recording country artist in south africa....and i sometimes wonder what he would of said if he could see me now.....THIS SONG SENDS CHILLS THROUGH MY SPINE
Much love for this song... I met the love of my life in the psych ward when we were both teenagers. We managed to reconnect briefly, but by that time I was a binge-drinking oxy and Xanax addict living on my town's Skid Row, and she was a wreck herself from other issues, and she took her life on St. Patrick's Day 2012. I will never be the same, and I will never find someone like her again, loving anyone else would just feel like settling for second-best, even in the much better state that I'm in now.
T. Graham Brown....."If You Could Only See Me Now"....We always did!! His lyrics, accompanied by that beautiful voice, were indisputably "from the heart." We loved him then, and we love him now. ......Yet another "Country" legend....reaching out to those in the "cellars" of despair; whose "wine" could still be turned back into water.......
