Steve Gibson and the Redcaps, along with the legendary Treniers, were season-long headliners in the fabulous Wildwoods, NJ from 1947, well into the late 50's and early 60's. The Red Caps packed them in at the Martinique Club and the Treniers mostly at the famous Riptide Club. These two groups alone performed longer than the other 20 to 30,000 entertainers to ever grace the stages of the Wildwoods in the early Rock and Roll Years.
