This songs makes me picture myself in a classic Camaro convertible from the late 60s, it's summer time, I'm merging onto Pacific Coast Hwy in Malibu, with this song playing on the radio. I step on the gas, my hair blowing in the wind, I'm 20 something again and most of my life was still ahead of me...

I'm 15 and my friend has a record player & she had a record with songs from the 70s and 80s. This came on and I fell in love and repeated it over and over. What a time to be alive this song is beautiful, sometimes I wish I could be born back then just to experience the music lol. Let's just say I want a record player now

This song still sounds as fresh as it did when I first heard it on my AM radio back in the summer of 1976...I glad to see its people out there that feels like me about loving this song

I was born in 1972,and even though I am happily married with beautiful children. I really miss the days of being a little kid. I did not realize how awesome my childhood was until I was older.

I miss these songs. Memories of high school and a more innocent time.

Sadly, Bo Wagner, who played that magnificent marimba solo, passed away on June 20 at the age of 72. Condolences to his family and bandmates, and thanks for a song that will last forever.

I can remember waiting for this song to come on the radio back in the 70's, which was quite often when it came out.

I drove alone from Seattle to St Louis in August of 1976 only stopping for a couple of naps. Every radio station played this song all night long.

It cost me WEEKS of trial-and-error learning to play air-marimba on this song...

This is one of my favorite songs from the 70's.

'76 was an amazing summer in NYC, this song brings me right back to it, today feels like i am living on an alien planet compared to those days!

I heard this song on satellite radio the other day and memories just came flooding in from nowhere! I absolutely loved this song back in the day and now I can revisit it anytime I want. Thank you for posting it!
