Brings back great memories of beautiful sunny Sundays ,nothing much to do but relax and enjoy the day. Church, bountiful breakfasts cooked by our father on the only day he had off in the week. Stores were closed of course, radio stations played the hits one after another, after another. Only a couple television stations. No cell phones or computers/internet. Books. Newspapers. 45 and LPs . Way fewer cars. You took the time to slow down and reflect. An innocent time. Life unfolded patiently and one step at a time. It was a little lonely I remember but we made it through..
What 60's group can take a song and make it sound this good? Such beautiful vocals from "Spanky"! I will forever more cherish the sounds of the 60's -- nothing can compare to the music of that generation!!
i love how genuinely "pop" and happy this sounds compared to today's factory-made radio singles. They have their place and that's great but this is just pure authenticity
