Solution - Divergence free for downloading

I never heard this band before. You say progressive rock. To me it sounds like progressive jazz. Whatever you call it, it's good!

I had the two albums SOLUTION 71 and DIVERGENCE 72 on a double-play Cassette throughout the late 70s and 80s. Played them to death. Glad i have found this awesome vid. Thnx NGC.

I heard a lot of music when / since I was 20. This is a song I will still love when I'm 94 years old.

But the reason it is called "Tommy" is because Tom Barlage from Solution wrote it, and focus borrowed it from him and named it his name in honor of him. You will see on the Focus album credits, after this Tommy song part it says "Tom Barlage" as composer.

Etched into my brain since the 70's...have the album but no record player. To hear the saxaphone, the whole thing again is a pure joy, thank you. 

I've loved this band for forty years. And I still listen to their songs with the same pleasure. Especially the albums Cordon Bleu and Fully Interlocking. Recently I found Guus Willemse on a social network and today we become friends. What a pleasure! Today was a great day! Greetings from Portugal to all Solution lovers!

I discovered Solution in the early 80's. I loved their music ever since. Thanks for posting. Divergence is the signature song - i think.
