They came to fight for glory in their thousands
Young men with their dreams
They died before the guns for their country
A book of faded pictures broken dreams
Where are they now (*)
Where are they now
Where are they now
Where are they now
The broken heroes
Uncle Sam is waiting with the draft card
He says you’ve got to fight the Vietcong
The stations full of flags and rule Britannia
The engine pulls you out towards the Somme
(Repeat *)
The pipes are calling young men back to Belfast
The general says you march to Stalingrad
You rode into the valley with the hundred
Seven lonely graves on Goose Green
(Repeat *)

My homeless friend died on my sofa 10 hours ago...
This song I play for him. I hope he have it better now and that my tears can lead his way to tranquillity.
Love is eternal, so let the tunes from this channel all my love to where it is needed.
Man, I am liking this. Thanks for posting!!! ( sound a bit like The Cult: lots of power, but atmospheric in their singing, with lots of space to hear each musician. Great stuff!)
I found Saxon in 84 for the first time......Crusader changed my life forever....it's just one of those things, a song sticks in your brain and now I love all of Saxon's material after giving it all a listen. Everyone has an opinion, it's just my taste.
