I think this version is perfect. Really amazing. Adele's version is good too because it feels more modern. It's a little bit quicker and she has a great voice. In other words : this song is good, regardless of the version. :D

I love how these “lost” gems of Sam’s keep popping out. Many are as good or better than his hits. Those smoky soulful songs from “Night Beat” and cool jazz from “ The Rhythm and the Blues” opened my eyes and ears about twenty years ago leading to me rating Sam as the best singer in western popular music. Ever. Then when I figured there was nothing else, something like this pops up and grabs me. Never heard it before and it is simply a perfect song.

Sorry but I do not l like Adele's version.  In fact, I hate it!!  She changed the cadence and the entire essence of the song.  I'm sticking with the ORIGINAL Sam Cooke version.  He is the greatest!!!
