Not as good as Joe D Gibso on Tetra in 1959. The Fendermen version was a rip off of Joe D. Gibson and was OK. I do like the way Dolly Parton does it. Of course the original by the writer Jimmie Rodgers in 1955 is great. I also like his original version of The Battle Of New Orleans with its double Entrande is also great. I don't know when he recorded it first but I have an LP from Monument Records with re-recordings of a lot of his writings.

I goofed. The original Battle Of New Orleans was by Jimmy Driftwood not Jimmie Rodgers,. The album I have on Monument is by Jimmy Driftwood. Sorry for any confusion. My Mind is going.
