When i was little, my granny and i used to drive around listening to this song (this was about 18-20 years ago). I grew up wondering what it was and who it was by. So when i finally found out after finding the same dusty cassette tape we used to listen to, ill never lose this song again :)

Ruby's version is a fuller version of that which Jean Simmons sang with the band in the film "The Way to the Stars" (1945).

Not this version, but I remember this tune we had on an orange vinyl, not quite a 7" but played at 78rpm from my early childhood in the middle 60s!
