R.I.P mom, you would have been so proud of how far i have come, i love you always. You would have loved my kids and i play this as i know this used to be you favourite. Love you always and forever till we meet again xxx
R.I.P for all the innocent people around the world who lost their lives to this terrible virus. We all carry you in our hearts and minds and send you on your way with prays of godspeed to the sweet hereafter.
Everytime I hear this song played on the pipes my eyes well up with tears and I feel like crying. The bagpipes are the most beautiful sound I could ever hear. My Grandfather was full scots. The Scottish blood coursing through my veins reacts when the pipes are played no matter what song it is. Amazing Grace was played at Grandpa Hicks's funeral. I love the sound they make.
I felt a shiver I heard this, one of a Celt. I may be born English, but in reality, all English, Welsh, Scottish and Irish were born Brothers of our beloved isles, and yet brothers fight, yet in the end, we are the same blood, the same family, and the same people. We are the people of The Isles of Britain and Ireland, ruled over by Westminster, yet led by each other. I believe that one day, we will forget the borders and the wars and fights and unite as one people!
The power and beauty of this song and music in general is a gift from God. I once was lost, but now I am found. Was blind, but now I see.
May God bless you all.
