I like this r&r goody, I say that even tho I hadn't heard it up until now. The lyrics are positive & it's a somewhat different sound. It dose not remind me of Chuck Berry or even Fats Domino but more likely Nat King Cole going beyond his Lazy Hazy Crazy Days of Summer....better still Louis Armstrong & Hello Dolly. The stutter and the lyrics reminds me of Come Love by Jimmy Reed. Pretty sure he was inspired by that tune.

R and B had everything to do with ska. Listen to Laurel Aitken or Derrick Morgan from the late 50's. Early ska sounded almost just like R and B.
