Lift your face to the warming of the sun
No other world could be ours
Forget the play on words ill used by everyone
That draw us in to their wasted hours
And maybe I could be a friend
We could turn toward the coming rise
Or drift on back into a life of ease
Your thoughts and mine, thrown up into the sky
To float like blossom in the breeze
And maybe I could be a friend
Through this time into another time
And not to wish for any more
We will learn the days we must complete
And when to let them go their own way
Break right through the surface of deceit
Out into fields of silver wing at play
And maybe I could be a friend
Maybe I could be a friend
Great vintage Strato bending by the soul who is quite probably the most genious at it. I have watched him since 74 & Never a gob stone. Always a strat graced his palms. And he Does thank his audience. I found that to beso in 92. When I heard he had food poisoning, I sent him a bottle of VSOP & a best wishes & prayers note. He still has the note today!
MMmm....I have to recover from that a bit...well, I think outside of classical, nothing cuts as deep. His strings are like the sharpest blades into your soul.
Introduced to Trower by a man I love dearly but has left me after 24 years and now the sound fit even more, blues for me!! We went to a concert in our beginning(1988) and I fell asleep on his shoulder listening to the music( standing up).Great sound!
came across this by accident after hearing new trower stuff(released last year), this...is such a great tune. love expanding on tunes by him and leslie west I never heard of before..and that radio will never ever play.
This guy has so much talent and soul. He makes the guitar sing.
Anyone who calls themself a guitar player HAS to have Trower on their playlist.
Listen to the soulful sounds come forth from his Fender. It is mind-blowing.
I have listened to his music for 37 years. It is timeless.
Such a master piece, this is beautiful. Robin, when will they put you in The Hall Of Fame? Your music is a big part of my life, and for my brother who turned me into a fan, he is not with us anymore so here Bob remember all the time's we listen to this man's music together and just was blown away.
Incredibly good album, discovered it just a few days ago, and I'm literally speechless. Came here to share it on FB so others can get some magic of RT to.o
Pleasant and perfect. When will you ever get the credit you do deservedly should have all these years. I love it that you have always kept going with your ever changing beautiful, touching and moving me to the core music. You were a big part of changing my life in early 70's. I thank you.
