I think sticking to their influences was great. This album is a gorgeous homage to the 70s. My absolute favourite.

It’s kind of, for me, where they fell a little too in love with the records from their youth—Byrds, Crosby, beach boys. Nonetheless, there are some good songs on the record. Kind of long for the noise though. Out of all the shoegaze bands I feel Bell and Gardner’s harmonies were the best. I don’t count Fanclub in this group who’s own vocal harmonies were pretty next level
