This song feels like the rightful praise of warriors toward their great and mighty leader and savior. We have all been saved by Him individually for His purpose. We are a brotherhood of the saved, giving the glory to Him for all that He has done!
On the way to church this morning I was thinking to myself "Hmm, I wonder if there are any good Christian New Years songs? Like, maybe a Christian version of Auld Lang Syne?" Coincidentally our worship team did this song this morning. I asked our worship leader who it was, and he said it was Rend. I was surprised that I had not heard it, since I am a big Rend fan. I think it's cool how "For all that You have done" sort of mimics "For Auld Lang Syne".
Lyrics:
Your grace will never be forgot
Your mercy all my life
Will be my source for every song
My story and my light.
From mountain-top, to valley-low
Through laughter and through tears
Surely the goodness of my God
Will follow all the years
[Chorus]
For all that you have done for us
For every battle won
We'll raise a song to bless your heart
For all that you have done
In all our failures and regrets
You've always lead us home
Redemption's arm has raised us up
Our triumph in the storm
[Chorus]
In unity we'll stand as one
As family we'll go
Shoulder to shoulder; hand in hand
Into the great unknown
[Chorus]
[Chorus]

I've been wondering, does anyone know if in the background it's a flute you hear or a piccolo? And does anyone here bagpipes in the background as well?
