This album ruined my ears when I first heard it when it came out - I still haven't found anything quite as wonderful and wonderfully weird, including subsequent releases by Renaldo & the Loaf. When it first came out I would play it at the record store to get the customers to leave at closing time - unfortunately there were a few who were as excited by it as me and they would linger.
