but don t you dare hold me back
i carry in my chest
You re alive, my feet plow on
So don t you mind, and i pray to whoever is listening things ll be all right
Ain t hard to take, i see your face s in the clouds that scar the night
So don t you mind, you told me then, then today i wake up feeling easy
But i was never wise, you re alive
so keep a candle burning in the window
Hold me down, and i pray to whoever is listening things ll be all right of, so don t you mind
And i pray to whoever is listening things ll be all right, i can still hear your feet as you ran from the house, but don t you dare hold me back
And i pray to whatever is listening things ll be all right, i see your face s in the clouds that scar the night
but don t you dare hold me back
next to the weight
hold me down
you re alive
You re alive, hold me up to the fire, my empty belly and my body aches
i carry in my chest
Next to the weight, from light to dawn
hold me up to the fire
I can still hear your feet as you ran from the house, i hear your voices in the wind that cuts the night
i can still hear your feet as you ran from the house
My feet plow on, we all drift sometimes Face, you told me then
You re alive, i hear your voices in the wind that cuts the night
Could never tip the scale that i ve made, my feet plow on
And i pray to whatever is listening things ll be all right, but i was never wise
This band is amazing! I absolutely love their music. I can't believe this has been out and I have missed it. Thank you for these beautiful sounds and touching lyrics!!!
Ben Cooper creates the most phenomenal music and has some of the most resonating lyrics I've ever heard. Even if you pirate your entire music collection, buy this f*cking album, because in my mind he's a genius and deserves every penny for releasing these tracks on his own
The first ten songs I discovered from these guys, within the past twenty minutes, I thought okay, this is just a good streak from a band that's pretty amazing. Ten more songs later and I'm floored. Not a single song I haven't loved
