Pitchshifter - Landfill free for downloading

I still remember going into the record shop and looking at that picture on the tape case and thinking to myself...what do we have here! I'm glad I took that chance!

When I first heard Fear Factory's "Soul of a New Machine", I felt that they really took a lot of influence from this album, although at that point, Pitchshifter had already moved on from this sound. The similarities between both albums is uncanny, though.

Still got some letters from the band - saying they were going to sign to Earache!

Still one of my favorite tracks from this band. I first heard this off some compilation tape from the early '90s, not sure which one exactly. Awesome track!

I love how the album cover is Dennis Hopper getting his dome blown off near the end of "Blue Velvet"

I love this song. I remember when this album came out. Now, if I could just find "Endless Human Failure" by 'Soulstorm', I'd be a happy man.

I kind of agree, but the similarities (especially on Industrial and Submit) are pretty blatent to anyone with even a passing knowledge of both bands. I'm not saying those records are total rip off's and I actually prefer Shifter over Godflesh but mainly for only for material up until Infotainment. They went downhill in the late 90's in my opinion.

God I'm getting old I saw them play this at the Wrexham memorial hall before they were signed. Awesome tune shame they went all pop.

BS about them just being a Godflesh rip-off, the band grew up on the same influences and same shitty background of late 80s Thatcherite UK

It's very similar to this, and I think it's really badass
