My mother sang this to me as a lullabye. She was Polish and didn't know the words...who does if they don't speak Hungarian? Nevertheless, "ai lu lu lu lu" was sufficient to put me to sleep and then my children and now my grandchildren. I am touched to read the real words...they are so beautiful...nagyon szep (my father was Hungarian).
