I have always thought that his playing just talks to you. It speaks volumes. Steve Perry has a special place in his heart for this guy and his musicianship his guitar playing. Despite their differences. Steve Perry and Neal Schon are the best together. Beautiful song.

I bought this album and love all of it. One thing I would like Mr. Schon to do is grab a bass in some of these songs and go deep with the melodies as he is going with them into the atmosphere.

Wonderful rendition of this classic pop song... It took me a little bit of time to buy this album after its release. It was hard to find expensive and I initially thought this was a vocal album, while I'm not fond of Neal's voice... But what a great instrumental album it is ! The guitar tone and the playing are just... breathtaking, so beautiful. The sound on this album in general is magnificent anyway. At least for those who love deep, clear guitar sounds, with a lot of reverb. It sounds as if Neal was playing in a cathedral ! I imagine an orchestral arrangement instead of keyboards nowadays, and no percussion at all... Would be even better. This piece is one of the highlights of the record... Neal Schon was definitely at the top of his game there.
