This is the version I had on disc, very powerful with a tremendous flow and swell, just what the piece needs, superb liquidity in the phrasing with a beautiful full tone, so nice to hear it again, an old friend!

Virtuosity to Milstein meant much more that showing off. He succeeded in making the piece hover in the air by his unemphatic bowing which was extraterrestrial.

Sorry. No comparison to Heifetz. Heifetz tone and fingering unsurpassable. Even Milstien bowed to him.
