I find this version to better than the original (by Gary Glitter), and not just because it's higher-fidelity. It's extremely mesmerizing and haunting compared to the original, and just as groovy, if not groovier. Not to mention the weird distorted secondary voices and bit-crushed sounds near the end make it a lot more interesting to listen to.
In fact, I didn't even know about the song until this album.
