We have to remember that ghosts were once like you and me, human. Emotional, breathing, walking thinking beings. The Katrina victims is such a heart breaking point in American history, but just listening to this song makes me reflect on our tiny little planet and all the damage we have done to each other i.e Holocaust, slavery (everywhere), human trafficking, bombs, 9/11, hunger.
Human sadness...
All that's nature and human is devastating and listening to this is just painful because of all that we, tiny humans feel on this tiny little planet. And how loss for one of us is so small comparing to the unexplainably huge universe....
I heard this first on GA and the feelings whats in this music isn't explainable (or something srry for my englsih im from belgium) The feeling is to great but, as in GA it brings sadness to this song and thats what i like to hear, A feeling u think about. It gives me chill every second.

I have been looking for this track for ages! I'm finally glad I found it from the actual artist who made it! I just wanted to say that this track stuck with me when I first heard it in the Ghost Adventures episode. It is truly haunting and beautiful at the same time. Thank you for writing such elegant music for such a tragedy that was portrayed in the episode. :)
The New Orleans episode was hard for me to watch, The voice that came through the spirit box and said "I'm dead" Nearly made me cry as this music started after that :'(
There is 'something' about this piece of music...That goes deeper than the surface.. I first caught it on GA....but you truly "captured" something here. I just wish it was an hour longer! Bravo Mimi!! Bravo.

To the lost innocent souls, I prey you find peace and are one day able to go into the light, you will not be forgotten by family, friends, and thos who have known you or who you have touched.May the after life be peaceful and happy or as some may call heaven, with this song we who still live can hear you when you may have passed with regrets or passed to someone elses greed or dark lust. Rest in peace thos who are innocent and or have had their life cut short.

(for thos who think i am abit weird as to how i refer the reaper, its because death is absolute as we see it daily and i personaly believe in the reaper and in the afterlife. Call me what you will but I still believe in what i believe.)
It is amazing how a piece of music can have such an effect.. I was so moved watching GA and when this music played in the background I felt so chicken, it brought the horror and torment that those poor people suffered. Much praise to GA for finding such talent as Mimi Page, and bringing her voice to a wider audience.. I'm delighted that we both appreciate such haunting melodies and GA !!!
