Must i have sleepless nights, don t you know
Don t you know, you took my heart and ran away
and leave me bewildered
I ll never understand, don t you know
And endless days, you took my heart and ran away
what s in my heart
I m helpless without you, wishing your heart could hear Sylvia, i need your guiding hand
how you could love me
Don t you know, lost in a dream of you
Must i have sleepless nights, and endless days
How you could love me, helpless without you
where is the love we knew
I ll never understand, i m helpless without you
i ll never understand
Where is the love we knew, helpless without you
i ll never understand
What s in my heart, why did we part, don t you know
what s in my heart
What s in my heart, don t you know
Don t you know, and leave me bewildered, why did we part
Thanks for letting us know. I had always wondered where he was. Loved his voice and guitar talent. I am sure he is playing and singing somewhere else now....Nirvanic dimension.
This is what Music is all about,,QUALITY! Mickey & Sylvia's "Bewildered" almost sounds like their No.1 hit "Love is Strange"-great Guitars, easy going R&Bs,and simple, but intimate vocals,,great quality!
I work under Sugarhill in 1995-1996,as an engineer producer. Here is just one of the special things I got a chance to experince with Ms Rob.Every Christmas Slyvia would buy the kids in Englewood and the kids in the Bahamas Christmas gifts. In 1995 I help her going to the stores we had a blast.Sylvia Robinson was a shrude business woman, with a heart of gold!Ms Rob thank you for everything!"Sugarhill" will always be remembered.Love you Ms Rob!R.I.P."Rejoice In Peace"
In 1980 someone told me to get "Mickey Baker's complete course in Jazz Guitar, Book One." I got it and it started me on the road to becoming a Jazz guitarist. I had no idea what Mickey had been doing all these years and I was surprised to find out that he had just recently passed away. I thought he passed away years ago.
RIP Mickey. You were an inspiration to many.
Thank you Mickey & Sylvia.
Beautiful version.
My friends mom is currently in hospice
We used to listen to her sing this to her husband via homemade record.
I never forgot this song. That was 50yrs ago.
