TousavecNintendo "C.O.D." means "Cash On Delivery" - You would pay whoever delivers it (postman, courier, whoever) and they pass on the payment. Obviously this was less reliable than the sender receiving payment first and then sending the package. With C.O.D. the sender believed the recipient would still want the package (and have the money) when the package was delivered, usually weeks later.
