A song that was forbbiden in Yugoslavia, especially in the years after the war. I dont know, it was anti-war and the love song, but Germans commited a lot of horrible crimes during the occupation, so kind of i can understand the logic. My grandpa was captured in the street as teenager and taken to firing squad with rest of captured civilians. Only thanks to partisans who attacked the Germans at the time, i am writing this message. Me personally, i love the song. :)
Man this is so loaded with memories and history. My Dad was a fascist soldier during WW2, Italian, captured near Montecassino (and well treated) by the Brits. We may not have agreed on politics at all, but this goes way beyond politics - it was about humanity despite politics.
