Chuck who?? Man they don't give these early cats no recognition.... I first really knew the blues when I got into to Stevie Ray, but he would tell who influenced him and that eventually lead me to places like this. I've discovered a lot of great music because of him.

I Believe Ray Charles Was Touring With Lowell's Band from sometime in 1950 to late '51/ early '52....by which time Ray had formed his own combo ..In fact the two bands were playing along with Hal singers band in a "Battle of the Bands at the Apollo New York in Feb '52.....wouldn't have minded goin along to that one!!

These early recording really show what a huge influence T Bone was on Lowell Fulson,BB,Gatemouth,Johnny 'Guitar' Watson and all the rest of the early 50s cats coming up.It's hard to grasp now but T-Bone changed everything.Thanks for the great upload Btw.
