Jon Hendricks was truly an international treasure. And there will never be another Lambert, Hendricks and Ross.

Jon and Dave do a brilliant chase on Airegin, singing long sustained solos unlike the brief tracks on the albums. Jon was a renowned scat singer (and lyricist), but Dave was no slouch and holds his own in his solo and trading fours at a furious tempo.

this is spectacular…i saw Jon Hendricks in 2003 at London at the jazz cafe and his voice was so strong…his kids were singing with him.it was one of the most uplifting shows i've ever seen. They def influenced the flintstones theme song ..lol….i suppose they were sooooo masterful as vocalists that people weren't able to sing along which kept them more underground.

Lambert, Hendricks 'n' Ross = Three of a kind. Wonderful! They got rhythm for sure.
