1 problem is, we think the rebellious feelings we have towards authority upon reaching a certain age is "a phase" when, in fact, it is an appropriate reaction to our world, but since we think it is only a "phase" we conform and make the same mistakes as our forebearers. If we, however, realise these feelings are NOT a "phase", and behaved accordingly, the world WOULD change! However, unfortunately, for the unborn generations, this is quite often not the case.
