This song has a lot of meaning to me because when i was an exchange student in Japan in the city Nagoya I got lost on the way home from school. I had tried asking strangers for help, but I did not know much japanese back then so I was so scared to ask people for help and I didn't know what to say to them. I didn't know where to go and it was getting late, the sun was going down and I had no cellphone with me, so I could not call my host family, so I was just sitting alone on a bench by a river, watching boats drive by. I sat there alone for a really long time and I was starting to get more and more scared and worried. It was getting dark and I wanted to calm myself down so I put my ipod on shuffle, and this song, "Thank you, stars" started playing. I started crying so much, and then this old man saw that I was crying and he came over to me and asked me if I needed help. He understood english, so I told him that I was lost and I had no phone with me, so he let me borrow his phone to call my host mother. It turns out I was at the other side of the city and my host mother had to drive for one and a half hour to come pick me up. Because of this, this song makes me cry every time i hear it. I love this song.
