She made a violin sound like a fiddle and a fiddle sound like a violin. This beautiful woman is one of the best violinist in the world. Excellent performance from her and the entire orchestra. Most enjoyable and beautiful.

Dear Katica ~ Violinist Magnifique & Friend/Colleague ~
Helena Bartoldi sent this to me with your 'Evaristo Carriego', and after watching/listening twice, I am once
again very struck by your classical 'Gypsy' approach to grand concert pieces for the violin and orchestra!!!
Many soloists play - yet as if in an isolated practise room for a non existent audience ~ Since first seeing & hearing your jet propelled 'launch' of Astor Piazzolla's 'Libertango' in Budapest, with the Dohnanyi Orchestra
& the superb Illenyi's, there is a definitive 'star quality' to every piece of violin concert repertoire you present with classic dignity and Bravura yet (for a better lack of words) 'Royal Musical Demeanor' with what I'll term,
"the Katica Illenyi Twinkle"!!!!! The awareness and embrace of your audiences is now a Katica Illenyi Violinist Trademark of Style & Grace ~ Bravissimo to the most uniquely herself Hungarian Violinist with international Dazzle!!!!

Temperament, precision, feeling ... everything is there! So rare to have it all at once :-) Perfection, no-zealous- real treat for all, thank you and hats off!
Katika, I love Hungarian Rhapsody No.2 ,I had listen a lot of musicians performing this them in different instruments, and today you delighted me with your performance on your violin. You are an amazing violinist. Thank you.
Franz List has probably fallen in love , too . He hears your interpretation, Katica. And I just watch this , my mouth spontaneously opened :) . Lovely.
