You know I had to click the "BACK" button to come back to this video from watching "The Motto" video by Drake because I wasn't feeling that Dirty South beat. It doesn't meet up with the Real Hip Hop standards anyway.
Still rocking this joint after so many years. Hard, gritty, and REAL. Featured on the best hip hop soundtrack ever. Period. These whack studio auto-tune clowns need a history lesson and need take note of some real shit right here.
see in the 90's I swear Patois was just incorporated into hiphop on both coasts by loads of artists in my opinion SOME OF the best 90's hiphop came outta New York. The whole Jafaican thing was embraced back then LOL but we got some bangers (EVEN KRS AND BUSTA RHYMES DID IT)
this was the b-side to Onyx "Live N**gaz" single, i got the single, played it, flipped it over to find this frickin monster, i nearly jizzed, lol, i STILL play this out when i dj anywhere...fuckin awesome !!!
i used to bump this back when I was younger and now I'm getting ready to make some music with Kali and go on tour together. pretty dope and I feel blessed to be in this position working with such a talented artist
