In the late 19 70's and 1980's in Nigeria, Juice Newton was very popular among many Urban folks and Radio DJ living in the Southern part of Nigeria; especially in he South Western part.
This is really strange... the playback rate seems to be speeding up and slowing down exactly like my cassette player used to. I still like it, of course
For all of you people who have made such derogatory comments about Juice Newton and this song, I have to believe you have absolutely no sense of humor, and quite possibly, many of you did not graduate in the top 99 percentile of your high school graduating class. This is a very funny video. I put this video up there with Reba McEntire's "Why Haven't I Heard From You?"
I love these style of videos from the 80's when the video tracked with the song and the artist could make fun of it or throw some humorous storyline that made it memorable. It could be done with taste and not with women wanting to be noticed by wearing butt floss and shaking their ass at a camera.
I love how she falls backwards off the cliff in the wheelchair and keeps singing at the camera all casual. LOL!!! Ah the parts I missed as a 7 year old boy.
