I told my kids to play this at my funeral, and see if I don't sit up for this.

Not sure if "Shotgun" was a bigger hit, but this was Mr. Walker's BEST! Killer song!

I am just old white guy but I think black bands from the 60s and 70s were some the greatest ever bar none. I never get tired of listening to them. They make me think about my late wife and brings back the best memories for me

This was real music by real artists...back in the day and still reflect a time when music spoke from the heart and the words and melodies brought joy..then and take us back to more innocent times... something missing in today's crazy world.... love this song!

Timeless, you can play this song at any occasion and get everyone’s attention today, 50 years later. Toe tapping, singing the lyrics and even want to get up and cha cha.

Before saggy pants, gold grills, gangst rap, there was class beyond compare coming out of Detroit, Philly, etc...

16 years old, hormones a blazin', learners permit in my wallet, driving around the neighborhood with the windows down in my parents royal blue Coronet white hat special (white vinyl top) that I had just polished and this song on the radio just blasting with me singing along. I will never forget that moment and this remains one of my all-time favorite tunes.
