John Mayall is the father of British Blues. It was John Mayall who first discovered Eric Clapton way back when and gave him his first job as a guitarist in his famous Bluesbreakers band. The rest is history!

Buddy was playing some good licks. Eric's tone and playing imo was much better back in the early days, think EC was here.
Age sure changes things, either that or we just get complacent and tired I guess. Even the keyboard player seemed like he was holding back or just plain forgot what to do. Maybe it was just a jam and who cares?
