The song a robin sings
Through years of endless springs
The murmur of a brook at eventide
That ripples by a nook where two lovers hide
A great symphonic theme
That’s Stella by Starlight and not a dream
My heart and I agree
She’s everything on earth to me

I can see why, I just wiped a tear from my eye listening to this. That never happens and I love music and am a musician. I am starting to learn jazz and I've been learning from Joe.
Eh, sorry guys, but there is reverb on this track. In the right channel. The headphones never lie. But I'm just some chump commenting on a Joe Pass video, so wth do I know? XD
Seriously. Mista fuggin Joe Pass, ladies and gentlemen...
Absolutely Sir ! I was privileged enough to see this man live 2 times .
Unbelievable just Joe & his Guitar playing . Nice gentleman got to talk to him .
Truly one of a kind .
I took a master class with Mr. Pass in the late 70's He was very down to earth got his point across solidly. It's was one of the strongest musical experiences in my life. He was amazing.
I have had the good fortune to see the man live and up close many times. It was always an experience. What you can't get from recordings is the aura of the virtuoso-I was at a small place in Boston in the early 80's and while he played 'Round Midnight you couldn't help noticing that everyone was nearly in tears!!!!!
Well said! And like the commenter above noted..."No reverb. No gagets to hide the flaws". Exactly. No Pro-Tools to fix the "mistakes". Just pure art captured in a moment of time. It's like "Here it is...take it or leave it."
