"Hey, hey, little chick tell me what's on your mind, you got me walkin' and talkin' and laughin' just to keep from cryyyyin' " - how he sings this, is just awesome. What a great singer, and he still keeps on, Joey Clay is great!
Was in New Orleans in '87 and met the guys who would play with him when he was playing locally. I saw them do a gig (without Joe) while I was there and two of the musicians had a fight (with each other) on stage. lol
Hal Harris on guitar. I met Joe many times and even remember the first time he ever played in UK. That was a mad mad show in Birmingham UK. I had the pleasure many years later playing on the same shows and booking him myself at Dingwalls. He was a lovely man, RIP to that Joe!!
C. J., it's been a long time. It's great to see that you're still going strong. Tell Buddy Biscoff, I said hello, if you ever see him. Doc. Coleman, used to be my neighbor in Myrtle Grove. He and Bud, are running Pals. Take care..!!
