I’m a white guy who loved new jack swing growing up and this is one of my all time favs. I went to a mixed high school and used to see this one black chick in the halls who was absolutely beautiful. This songs lyrics fit perfectly how I felt about her. We became friends eventually but never hooked up. Stayed in touch through fb over the years, both got married, I have 2 kids. Last year she died of breast cancer at 42. She was a special soul-beautiful as always til her last day. Life flies by so fast-try to enjoy it
