even if this summer is not going the be the same as we are used too....its still going to be summer in a week....and how can that ever be a bad thing...i had some of the best times in my life during the summer months...even if we never had any money i still went to see my great hero Mickey Mantle at the old Yankee Stadium my brother and i would jump on the fresh air fund bus and my old man would give us both a quarter and we would sit in the bleachers and call out to Mickey and once he actually turned around and waved to us kids....i think he must of know we were the poor kids..who loved him...
Wow...guess what? today is the first day of summer 2020...what a joyful time?? true pools are closed, beaches are closed, no indoor dinning as of yet, and the covid 19 virus is still out there wanting to kill us, and last night i watch the "protesters take down statues that have been there for over 100 years just because they felt they should not be seen anymore..and maybe their right in taking the law into their own hands...but i feel these are good kids..just caught up in this terrible covid 19 pandemic that has got everyone angry with everyone else...lets all remember its the start of summer 2020 lets make the most of it!!!!
