If you're over the age of 50 or 60 and you remember this and other great songs from 1962 than you get it. Once again; the last great year (1962) of top 40 songs.
I had a great first husband for 30 years but we drifted so far apart I was lucky to find my best friend, lover and second husband wrapped up in one! He taught me what Love really was but sadly he passed away in 2011. Now I dream, pray and can't wait until God reunites us❤️❤️❤️ Bill I love and miss you more with every day....forever Pat
Jerry Butler did not ever simply sing a lyric. He sang from a place deep down from the depths of his very soul. What a great singer Mr. Jerry Butler was. My favorite singer back in the day. Even today I find myself needing a Jerry butler" fix" when things in my world seem to get a little fuzzy. Thanks for all the great memories....Peace
I grew up in the best of times! 'The Iceman' was one of my favorites! Today's music is soo artificial. I really miss the beautiful real backup singers, instruments, and especially the strings. Go ahead and cry, it is good for your soul!
A SAD, BUT BEAUTIFUL SONG. JERRY SINGS WITH MUCH FEELING. WHEN YOU LISTEN TO HIM SING THE IMAGE OF THE TWO LOVERS IS VERY CLEAR. LOVE THE BACKGROUND SINGERS.
