I am in a Radiology school and I am almost finished! Two students in my class already have student Rad tech jobs. I am a good student and do good work. I think to myself "I am good too, why can I not find a job before I graduate? " this has been going on for about 4 months now. I would ask God for help and I had an interview with a hospital that went well. Time passed and no one ever called me back. I was giving up. about 2 nights ago I was laying in bed and I prayed again and told god I would glorify his name if he got me a job I would tell people what he had done for me, that I was not ashamed of him. He is my lord and through him all things are possible.
The next day I got a phone call from that hospital with a job offer. It had been almost 4 weeks past the interview. It goes to show you there is a God and he does work in mysterious ways. To the non believers just give Jesus a try. It will be the best thing you ever did!

Usually watch Passion of the Christ some time around Easter. Throughout the whole movie I cry because it's very brutal, and also reminding me how bad sin is that only Jesus could stop it, and most importantly reminding me that Jesus loved me so much that he would die for me.

This song, this video it always gets me but this time it really moved me in a different way.
All I could think was would I take the nails? Would I have stopped it?
So often when we think of social injustices (or at least me) I picture myself stopping it or standing up for what is right. What I realize though is that with Jesus, I am no better than those who fell asleep while he prayed, I am no better than Judas. I fall short all the time but then (just as the next suggested song states) God takes me back, every time. It's so overwhelming.
