He’s told me a million times he’s sorry
I always take him back, though soon I know
He’ll spend the night with you and let me cryin'
You don’t love him, but you won’t let him go
Oh whiskey, if you were a woman
I’d fight you and I’d win, Lord knows I would
Oh whiskey, if you were a woman
I’d drive you from his tangled mind for good
No matter what you do, I’ll do it better
You’ll never be the woman I could be
But you don’t have a heart or any feelings
So I can’t even ask for sympathy
Oh whiskey, if you were a woman
I’d drive you from his tangled mind for good
What the hell happened to the big band country era? I loved all the talent, good harmonies and the singing isn't covered up by 13 guitars and overplayed drums a keys. Oh and all the pedal steel, amazing. Highway 101, Confederate railroad, Kentucky headhunters, Diamond Rio, Asleep at the wheel, etc etc. Music sucks now here in Nashville.
this was the one of the last times country sounded country. a few early 90's. not sure what this new stuff is. rejected rock stars maybe? grab a guitar n hat you are a country singer. NOT
