I love the explanation the band had for the switch from fantasy to sci-fi. Apparently it was always about sci-fi, with magic is just super advanced alien technology. For example the "Enchanted chamber with mirror and fire" where he finds the dragon is a crashed spaceship, the dragon itself is a defense drone and the "powerful scroll" he used to tame the dragon was an instruction manual with voice commands for said drone.
In other words, they are making shit up as they go and I love it.

when its said that they are a "parody" band, it does not mean that they made this band as a joke, no they are a real band but they are just having fun with the clothes and words. They are still as legit a band as any other! fucking amazing!

Back when I first got into power metal, Dragonforce really inspired a lust for life in me, that lust for life has long since settled down (not disappeared, it'll never leave me) but this band has truly rekindled the flame that Dragonforce originally awoke in me. These guys are easily one of my favorite bands of all time despite only having two albums, they are really about quality over quantity.
