Time keeps marching on and getting old comes without announcement.  Glenn was one of a kind, natural talent.

This song reminds me of my very beautiful MOM (gorgeous)......and now, so many years later, it is me.....still dreaming like my Mom, always did, still do....always will...

Rest in peace, Glen Campbell. You enlivened the life of this everyday housewife

Funny, she's never an "everyday housewife" when it's your mom.

This played on the radio a lot back in the day, around 1970...

I love Glen Campbell.  Didn't care for him so much when I was younger but now I do appreciate his music.

I was in high school when this song came out. My best friend's Mom said these words are true to life....we laughed then....we don't laugh now....

I'm scanning old family photos as I listen to this.  Reminds me of my mom.

I was a 2nd year college student (1968) working a summer job in a factory in New Bedford Mass. I remember this song.... loved it then as I still do. My mother recently turned 100....this song means some much more now....then it was music....today it reminds me of my mother bringing up 4 children (2 sets of twins!).....making clothes for my sisters, hand braiding rugs for our home and putting up with me and my brother's antics as college students.  Where has the time gone? "Whatta" a mother we have....

Thinking of my mother when i listen to this song, what a damn good job she did. Teaching us that hard work and common sense is the ladder to build something in you Life.

speaking as a middle age woman, I get this song!  Not regretting being "an everyday housewife", but every now and then remembering my younger days,  I think everyone has times like this,,,  I love this song!
