There is no denying the place the composer Gershon has as a pioneer of electronic music but it would not have happened without the genius of Dr. Robert Moog who designed, built and mnufactured the synthesisers for those pioneers. One of the greatest composers and performers with electronic music at that time was Keith Emerson, the legendary keyboardist from ELP (Emerson, Lake and Palmer). The group remained at the top for several years and a famous piece of theirs "Fanfare for the Common Man" has been used for many events to this day. The ELP rearrangement of the 1942 Aaron Coppeland composition has become a standard.
