Great song, but good god those outfits and hair...

As a young DJ, all of 20 I was called in at the last minute to MC an oldies revival show at the Yale Bowl. 1973. Gerry Marsden was the very first celebrity I'd ever met, I was told by the promoter of the show, go in and introduce yourself to Gerry. I was terrified. Had watched the band on Ed Sullivan as a kid, now I'm going in to meet him. He could not have been nicer. Lovely, lovely man......

Gerry and the original Pacemakers broke up in 1966..Gerry is the man who is singing...this is the new Pacemakers...who were under 40.

Great song, great guitar chords I love playing this song, Gerry adds sparkle, less so now but he has played it a million times, get the orginal, simply brilliant.
