My Grandaddy sang this song to me all the time growing up. I never realized it was a real recorded song until the late 80’s, when I was in high school and after he had passed away. So glad I was able to find this song on here, to listen to, and bring back all those wonderful memories. Love you Grandaddy.....❤️

This was the song that became me and my dad's favorite in the early 60's, we would sit outside in the evening, dad would play guitar and we would sing this over and over. I must have been 3 or 4 years old :-) So wonderful to find this old country gem!

Mr. Morgan's voice in itself is the main instrument and I love this version. There is a great tribute to him and Mel Tillis by their daughters Lorrie and Pam's version of her father's Burning Memories. Just sweet as they could sing them. God Bless
